You may have recently heard the Global Ground Transportation Institute recently launched something called GGTI Learning Circles. I’m here today to break down for you what this new program is all about and how you can benefit from it.
So, what is a GGTI Learning Circle? The simple answer is it is a mechanism for peer-to-peer learning. Peer-to-peer learning is not a new concept, and certainly something we have seen before in the transportation industry. What’s different about GGTI’s Learning Circles is we will be creating small groups of diverse transportation professionals from varying segments and geographies, putting them in a virtual chat room via webcam, and giving them a specific topic each month to discuss for two hours. It’s a brain storming, idea sharing, free-for-all approach with people with who have different backgrounds, experiences, customer-bases, challenges, and successes.
Topics will range each month from sales to financial planning to technology solutions. Each meeting will have a facilitator, and some months will even feature subject matter experts. However, the real teachers will be the individual members of the group. Each Learning Circle will meet for a total of 13 months.
This program is only available to GGTI members. The cost is only $50 per month. There’s no travel. There’s no need to even leave the house.
We want education and idea sharing to be accessible, affordable, and convenient. GGTI is a community, and through these Learning Circles we can further bring our community together.
